About The Course

Athy Golf Club was founded in 1906 at Geraldine in County Kildare and grew from a nine-hole course into an 18-hole parkland layout. Later improvements introduced new trees, numerous bunkers and a lake-guarded green, placing a greater premium on accuracy than sheer driving distance.
